A handful of users have written in about the same thing this week: after a terminal disconnects and reconnects — usually after the machine wakes from sleep, or a long-running task finally finishes — the same prompt sometimes shows up twice in Prompt Historic.
What we know so far
It looks like it only affects the entry logged right at the moment of reconnection, not the whole history, and it doesn't affect the terminal itself or anything you've actually sent to the agent — it's strictly a display issue in the log. We haven't been able to reproduce it on demand yet, which is the annoying part; it's showing up in the field more than it does for us locally.
Workaround
Closing and reopening the Prompt Historic tab clears the duplicate from view. It doesn't fix the underlying cause, but it's a one-click way to make the list look right again while we track this down properly.
Why this is taking a bit longer to fix
Prompt Historic's whole UI is already scheduled for a rebuild — the current design has been on our "needs a proper redesign" list for a while, independent of this bug — so we're being deliberate about not patching around a bug in code we're about to replace anyway. The fix will most likely land as part of that rebuild rather than as a one-off patch to the current version.
We'll post an update here once we have a firm timeline, and again once it's actually resolved.
